As your birth doula, my mission is to help you achieve a positive, empowering birth experience that leaves you feeling connected and fulfilled.  I provide emotional and physical support with educational guidance during your pregnancy, labor, and birth. I am here to instill confidence and help you navigate your pregnancy and labor journey. I am an active listener, and hold space while lifting up your vision for birth, as every lived experience and path to parenthood is profoundly unique. I support ALL births, whether medicated, unmedicated, induction, cesarean, hospital, birth center, or home. Every pregnancy and birth deserves non-judgmental, compassionate, evidence-based support.

Providing a calm, attentive presence to bring ease and a sense of peace to the labor and birthing space is my foundation for care. I facilitate communication with your care provider, as needed, to ensure you have the information you need to make informed decisions regarding your body and your baby, supporting your full right to bodily autonomy. Whether I am providing reassurance and perspective to you and your partner and/or family, making suggestions for labor progress, helping with relaxation, movement, and positioning, massaging, or supporting with other techniques such as counterpressure for comfort, my ultimate goal is to stay curious and connected to you and your needs.

I serve as your advocate to help ensure your birth wishes are honored whenever possible, to the extent of your health and your baby’s health.  As an independent and self-employed doula, I am working for YOU, not for your care provider or hospital/birth center.  I am committed to bridging the gap between clinical and compassionate, parent-centered care, and it is truly an honor to walk alongside you as you transition into parenthood.
